Kirov gives Natalie Portman a run for her money
The Mariinsky Ballet Theatre, otherwise known as the Kirov Ballet came to Toronto to dazzle audiences with their traditional interpretation of Marius Petipa’s Swan Lake for seven nights last week. It was a perfect night for me, seeing as it was my favourite ballet, favourite company, and favourite ballerina in the title role.
